The building was wired by the contractor’s cable company. All rack termination was also completed by the contractor’s cable company. All Systems task was to setup and maintain the Local Area Network. Because of the type of installation, high quality networking equipment needed to be used. The system has 96 switch ports setup of three different VLAN’s. The different VLAN’s support IP phone system, Office Work Space, and the Wi-Fi. Meraki Enterprise Class access points were used. With the Meraki access point the client can monitor who connects to the network and how often they visit.
