Sports bars have lots of TVs and speakers. Most of the time the hard part is figuring out were things go, so everything looks good. Creative mounting locations or even custom fabricated mounts are used. This location has twenty-four large displays inside and ten displays on the outdoor patio. There is also fourteen small booth TVs. So, does that mean the location needs forty-eight cable boxes? NO! On this project we used a QAM modulation Video system. This system is a full 1080p HD system that operates over standard RG6 Coaxial Cable. This technology works very much like your cable provider. All sources are fed into the system, and the system converts them to frequency increments. With your cable provider you need a cable box to decode the signal. This system uses the TV’s QAM tuner to decode the signal in 1080p HD and sometimes up to 4K. this system makes it very easy to have both Cable and Direct TV for Sports.
This location also has thirty-two speakers four zones. Speaker placement is also crucial. Speakers placed to far apart can cause beaming. This makes it too loud in some areas and not loud enough in others. For dining areas more speakers are used to create an even listing area. This location can control all of the AV from a smart phone or tablet.
