This project is at a large Center City Philadelphia Hotel. This project had HDMI, Component, and Composite Video ran to displays throughout the building. Some of the cabling was original and some of the cabling jury-rigged to get some form of picture.
For this project we ripped out all the old cabling and installed new RG6 cabling. We installed a QAM modulation HD video system. QAM HD modulation works on the same principle as a cable provider. Your cable provider uses standard RG6 to provide signal to your house or throughout your house and we all watch HD in our homes. Your service provider uses cable boxes to decode the signals and charges you a monthly fee. With the QAM system your HD TVs QAM tuner is used to decode the signals.
